I'm a veteran, father, and a Christian. Father comes first.

After serving in the US Air Force and Army, I earned my MFA in Creative Writing from Liberty University. My deep love for science fiction and fantasy—inspired by legends like J.R.R. Tolkien and Isaac Asimov—eventually turned me from a dedicated reader into a writer.

Today, I pair adventure with expansive world-building to craft high-stakes adventures. Whether exploring the human element of galactic conflict or engineering intricate, steam-powered starships, my stories focus on characters discovering their true destiny against impossible odds. I am the author of the Christian sci-fi novel A Sword of Fire and the space opera/steampunk series Steam and Empires , both currently available on Amazon.
